Lucas Sterry Designs was created from an artistic passion for design and painting. With an interest in motorcycles and hotrods, the painting, airbrush work and pinstriping in these industries drew the attentions of Lucas and forged the basis of a lifelong career.

 

Lucas was introduced to the art of signwriting at an early age (working in a local sign shop during school holidays). Lucas soon started a signwriting apprenticeship and successfully completed his trade in 1998.  Over many years in the industry, Lucas has developed his trade skills and expanded his career by working in management roles and even as a trade teacher.

 

Still looking to greater fulfil his artistic side, Lucas spent many weekends exploring his first source of inspiration, Custom Paint.  After a couple of years of practice with the airbrush, Lucas Sterry Designs was born.

 

Lucas continued to work in the sign industry while running Lucas Sterry Designs under the banner of LSD Custom Paint. For around 8 years, LSD Custom Paint ran as a hobby business that focused on custom airbrush work and pinstriping. In July 2015, the decision was made to evolve Lucas Sterry Designs into the full time business it is today, incorporating signwriting and graphic design with the custom painting business.

 

The new business structure of Lucas Sterry Designs means we can offer everything from Sign and Display solutions, Graphic Design, Custom Paint and Pinstriping.  Lucas Sterry Designs operates with first class equipment using products of the highest quality.  With a strong customer service focus and experience spanning over 25 years, we will work with you to find the best solution for your needs.
